Why not consider taking a local mountian bike guide for the day. Pedalabikeaway have access to a range of fully trained bike guides. Our guides are mainly OTC (Off Road Training Consultancy) trained and hold emergency first aid certificates.
We can help plan and guide your ride whether you are a keen group of riders looking to learn the tracks of the forest or a school or youth group wishing to plan a safe and enjoyable adventure tuned to the rider. Our guides come with lots of local knowledge and bike skills all thrown in.
The rides are tailored to the groups requirements and are often modified during rides to accommodate the ability of the group.

If you are a group required to carry out a risk assessment prior to your visit pdf here is a list of hazards common to the activities that involve cycling in and around the forest.

Please indicate the type of ride required –
Easy (10-15 miles) – forest stoned tracks and cycle ways with few hills.
Moderate (15-20 miles) – a mixture of forest roads and other tracks with moderate ascents and descents.
Difficult (over 20 miles) – forest roads and singletracks with steep climbs

Contact us for details. Find the many hidden treasurers of the forest trails with a guide, available in half or full days.
